Who Is Eligible?
NHS dental care is available to all UK residents.
Some patients may qualify for free treatment, including children under 18, pregnant individuals, and those receiving certain benefits.
What to Expect:
NHS appointments focus on essential care and prevention. The dentist will assess your oral health, discuss any concerns, and provide treatment based on clinical need. Pricing:
NHS dental charges are set nationally and fall into three bands:
Band 1 (£27.40): Covers examination, diagnosis, advice, and preventive care
Band 2 (£75.30): Includes Band 1 plus treatments such as fillings and extractions
Band 3 (£326.70): Includes Band 1 and 2 plus more complex procedures such as crowns, dentures, and bridges
Prices are set by the NHS and typically reviewed each April.
